ANLC PRINCIPAL CHARLES GRISIER
Charles Grisier, ANLC principal, has been in education since 1996. He started his education career in San Diego, CA. He’s taught 5th -10th grade and was also a peer coach/teacher mentor, staff developer and administrator in San Diego. When he moved to Arizona in 2004 he joined Scottsdale Unified as the Assistant Principal at both Aztec (a multi-age school) and Zuni Elementary schools.
Charles has taught multi-age and has been a student in multi-age classrooms in 5th and 6th grades and throughout high school and, of course in college as well. He still keeps in contact with his 5th/6th grade multi-age teacher, Mrs. Paige.
Charles traveled much of his life. His dad was a colonel in the US Marine Corps. They traveled and lived around the world. He has lived in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Greece, England, and America. One summer he even lived with a Russian family in St. Petersburg, Russia to learn Russian.
Charles’s multi-age background and world experiences make him a good fit for ANLC.
