STUDENT AND PARENT RESOURCES
Every Day Math
Visit the Every Day Math website
The math program used in the elementary grades is Every Day Math. One of two math programs recommended by the U.S. Department of Education, it is researched based and matches the standards set by the National Council of Education, Arizona Department of Education and the SUSD's performance standards.
Unlike many math programs the skills taught spiral throughout the curriculum. Activities range from paper and pencil to math games. Children learn by doing.
We encourage parents to review the family math pages for information on the current focus skills.

Galileo
Galileo Student Center
As part of our ongoing commitment to communicate with you about your child’s academic progress, the District is excited to update you on our second year of Galileo Benchmark Assessments. These assessments are a key component of our District Assessment Program. You may have heard bits and pieces from your child or fellow parents related to the benchmark assessments, which can be taken on-line or in classrooms using a paper and pencil format. We believe it is important for us to update you on the progress of the District Assessment Plan so that you have an opportunity to monitor your child’s progress on the Galileo Benchmark Assessments each quarter. We hope that this will enable you to assist and support your child in school.
